Ana is an artist based in Los Angeles, working across clay, canvas, and cloth. She studied architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design, where she first learned to think about form, space, and material — and that foundation still shows up in the way she builds a pot or composes a painting today. Since then, her studies, work, and projects have taken her from Paris to Central America and finally to Silver Lake, where she now lives and works. Each place left its mark on how she sees color, texture, and the everyday objects around her.

Her pottery is entirely hand-built stoneware. She loves the slow, tactile nature of the process — the way each piece takes shape gradually, by hand, with no two ever quite alike. Alongside her ceramics, she paints in oil, exploring a lot of the same questions of light and space from a different angle.

What ties it all together is a simple belief: beautiful things should also be useful, and the objects we live with every day can carry real sentiment. Ana makes work for her home, her community, and the people she loves — and she hopes it finds a place in yours too.
